The health of humans, animals, and ecosystems are inseparable — this MPH prepares you to work at that critical intersection. This online programme (18–24 months, 138 ECTS) from JLI Switzerland covers zoonotic diseases, environmental health, antimicrobial resistance, and global health policy. Career opportunities span international organisations, research institutions, national veterinary and health agencies, and environmental NGOs.
The programme covers core public health disciplines — epidemiology, biostatistics, community medicine, infectious diseases, and health planning — alongside modules specifically addressing One Health governance, planetary health frameworks, climate change and health, food safety, and ecosystem health surveillance. Students explore the interconnections between human health outcomes, animal disease management, and environmental degradation, developing the interdisciplinary thinking needed to address complex global health challenges. The programme’s planetary health component equips graduates to contribute to international climate-health policy dialogues and sustainable development programmes. A supervised research dissertation completes the qualification, supporting high-impact research in this rapidly evolving field.

• Bachelor’s degree in any life sciences related field
e.g., Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nursing, MBBS, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related disciplines.
