Oral health is a window to overall health — yet it remains one of the most neglected areas of public health globally. This online MPH specialisation (18–24 months, 138 ECTS) from JLI Switzerland equips you with skills in oral health epidemiology, community dentistry programmes, health promotion, and dental public health policy. Graduates work in public dental services, WHO, health ministries, and NGOs.
Beyond dental-specific content, the programme builds strong foundations in biostatistics, community medicine, environmental health, health planning, and infectious diseases management, ensuring a well-rounded public health competency. Students explore the social determinants of oral health, fluoridation policy, school dental health programmes, and the burden of dental caries and periodontal disease in different population groups. The programme also covers healthcare governance, resource allocation, and cross-sector collaboration — equipping graduates for management and advisory roles within oral health systems. A research dissertation enables students to conduct applied research in dental public health, contributing to the evidence base in this underserved field.

• Bachelor’s degree in any life sciences related field
